CIFAR Global Scholars Program 2027-2029
The CIFAR Global Scholars Program supports early-career researchers in developing high-risk, interdisciplinary research. It provides $100,000 CAD in unrestricted funding and leadership training for a two-year term.

How to apply
- Ensure you hold a PhD and a secure full-time independent research position.
- Verify your first post-PhD position started between July 1, 2022, and December 31, 2026.
- Confirm your research aligns with a recruiting CIFAR program.
- Submit your application before November 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.

Tips from past applicants
Ensure your position is secure for the full term from April 2027 to March 2029. Postdoctoral fellows are not eligible, so you must be in a faculty or equivalent independent role.
